Bach himself\u003c\/strong\u003e in Anna Magdalena Bach's notebook.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e  It has a simple \u003cstrong\u003eA-A-B-B musical form :\u003c\/strong\u003e  \u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMeasures 1-9 : \u003cstrong\u003ePhrase A\u003c\/strong\u003e (played twice) in the main key of G Major, featuring many \u003cstrong\u003erepeated notes\u003c\/strong\u003e in both hands\u003c\/li\u003e  \u003cli\u003eMeasures 10-22 : \u003cstrong\u003ePhrase B\u003c\/strong\u003e (played twice) beginning in the dominant key of D Major and modulating back to G Major in measure 12\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e  Please note that some modern editions show a \u003cstrong\u003eC natural in measure 6\u003c\/strong\u003e (right hand, first and second beats). Also, \u003cstrong\u003ethe value of the dot may be exaggerated\u003c\/strong\u003e and the eighth note played as a sixteenth note, as was customarily done in the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/sheetmusic2print.com\/Baroque-Sheet-Music.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow\"\u003eBaroque period\u003c\/a\u003e.
