Hornpipe$$$$$$This Air in D minor, HWV 461 by George Frideric Handel was composed ca 1717-1718, during the Baroque period.
In accordance with Baroque performance practice, remember that unslurred quarter notes should be played slightly detached, especially in the left hand.
Also, we suggest adding a cadential trill in measure 12, as was customarily done during the Baroque period.
Such a trill begins ON the beat, on the upper auxiliary note. More on less repercussions may be played depending on the player's taste and ability.
Please note finally that in this sheet music, all slurs are editorial, as they do not appear in the source.$$$$$$Duration : 00:38$$$$$$Source : George Frideric Handel, Miscellaneous Movements & Dances for Keyboard, HWV 457-586$$$$$$u8itn575Mhg
