French folk song$$$$$$The French folk song Jamais on n'a vu [Never did we see] has been a favorite for generations of French-speaking children!
Its funny lyrics explain that we shall never see a little dog wearing eye-glasses, nor will we see a mouse's tail in a cat's ear!
This popular folk song has a simple A-B-A-C musical form :
It is to be played in the first position, on the A and E strings.
It is particularly helpful for developing bowing technique, especially for retakes (lift circles).
Also, this piece can be practiced starting with an up-bow, thus reversing the direction of the retakes. $$$$$$Duration : 00:27$$$$$$Source : French Folk Songs$$$$$$Undefined
