Minuet - From 50 Pièces à l'usage des commençants - Fifty Pieces for Beginners, Op. 38$$$$$$This Menuet in C Major, Op. 38, No. 4 by Johann Wilhelm Hässler is part of Cinquante pièces à l'usage des commençants [Fifty Pieces for Beginners], Op. 38.
The quarter notes in this menuet should be played slightly detached unless otherwise indicated.
While playing this menuet, the pianist should try to emphasize the nice echo between the right and left hands in bars 1 to 4 and 9 to 12.
Please note that we suggest adding a cadential trill to measure 15, as was customarily done during the Classical period.
Also, all slurs and dynamics in this score are editorial and should thus be regarded as mere suggestions to the performer.$$$$$$Duration : 00:28$$$$$$Source : Johann Wilhelm Hassler, 50 Pièces à l'usage des commençants [50 Pieces for Beginners].$$$$$$1u2elyAzBWg
