Musette from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach$$$$$$This score is an arrangement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Musette BWV Anhang 126 for easy flute with piano accompaniment.
It is set in the key of F Major.
The term musette refers to a musical instrument of the bagpipe family.
The musical genre called musette is thus an imitation of this instrument.
In this particular musette, the melody in the flute and piano right hand resembles typical tunes played on the musette.
The piano left hand plays a murky bass accompaniment made up of repeated broken octaves which produce a somewhat droning effect.$$$$$$Duration : 01:15$$$$$$Source : Johann Sebastian Bach, Pieces from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach [Notenbüchlein für Anna Magdalena Bach] (1725).$$$$$$Undefined
