Study in G Major, Op. 45, No. 33

Étude - Etude$$$$$$This Study Op. 45, No. 33 by Franz Wohlfahrt is to be played in the first and third positions. The young violinist should try to play this study with a maestoso character.

This can be done by using whole bows on long notes as well as by using vibrato throughout the study.

This study also challenges the violinist to play scale passages with various bowings :

• All detached : as in measures 34-35-36
• Two slurred, two detached : as in measures 38-39-40-41
• Eight notes per bow : as in measures 78-79-80
